I was skeptical about buying these because of the cheap price, but after getting them, lacing 'em up, and putting them on-all my previous doubts were immediately knocked out of the water. These XL-55 boots feel like "broke in" riedel 595's but only lighter and a little more comfortable, I really don't know how sure grip pulled this off; considering these cost less than $80. bucks. I will write another review after i roll on these for about 4 months, just to see how they hold up. I am really impressed with these so far, and if you pair these up with a set of dyna pro plates you are gonna have a super light weight pair of speed skates. I'm talking 3.3 lbs to be exact for each skate w/jam plugs and witch doctors. to me, thats lightweight. A+

Worse Skate boot i have ever seen. I have been thru two pair and both pair the sole seperated from the boot at the heel only after skating on them 1 time.

I wrote the first review up top, after 2 months of skating i was confident enough to skate a fast 3 lap race at the rink on a saturday, in lap 2 turn 3 during a running crossover the heel completely separated causing me to wipe out and face plant tore the crap out of my wrist and a tendon in my ankle. to keep this from happening again I had a cobbler completely stitch the out soles to the boot. problem fixed.. still a comfy boot. if your over 135 lbs and skate hard invest in a boot with a stitched outsole..
